Cafe review : Supermilk

Yo! im apparently trying to do a review on a cafe... please note that i have pretty fussy tastebuds :x or my tastebuds might not be the "standard" you're looking for so yeaaa. I went to the cafe called Supermilk at Tai Seng! It's very near a popular cafe called 23 Jumpin. Actually i wanted to go to 23 Jumpin again to try the cheese fries (yas to cheeeeese keke) but my mum was disappointed the first time we went there.. :x Anywayyy, let's start the review!

We ordered Parmesan Chicken Linguine at $16, Supermilk bubble waffle at $10.90 (if i'm not wrong with the price) and lastly, a new item not on their menu yet called Fries Cream at $7+

The Parmesan Chicken Linguine was disappointing :c The saltiness was not evenly distributed. First bite and i thought it wasn't flavourful enough. Then second bite and i thought it was too salty. Apparently the chicken bits have more flavour than the spaghetti itself. Luckily my mum and i shared it between ourselves...:x
Parmesan Chicken Linguine

Fries Cream which is vanilla ice cream + chocolate sauce  + fries was not bad :) Although i feel that it's just like mcdonald fries dipped into chocolate syrup ice cream which i have tried before in the past. Sorry lah im very negative but just being honest... The waiter said it was very very nice and it sounded convincing enough so i gave it a try. I think it's worth it ba. 20 (??) thick fries + vanilla ice cream + chocolate sauce = $7+ :) This dish must be eaten fast because the ice cream melts very fast with the warm fries.
Friessssss Cream !!

Lastly, my FAVOURITE of all dishes, BUBBLE WAFFLE! It not only tastes amazing, it is also a work of art! I chose cookies and cream ice cream :D The waffle was crispy on the outside,soft and fluffy on the inside. Topped with maple syrup and chocolate sauce,it was heavenly goodness! The decorations of course can't be neglected! There's a tiny pretzel,a few meringues(? the colourful thing) and biscuit rolls :) The waffle maker indeed has done a great job !! :)
So gorgeous C;
One flaw of this cafe is that the words on the menu are way too small. This problem doesn't affect me because i'm younger and have relatively better eyesight but it affects middle-aged people. My mum had to squint her eyes EVEN in her specs. In the cafe, i was the only teenage customer,others were midde-aged. I also heard from the nearby customers that the words on the menu are too small.

As for the service provided by the waiter/waitress, i am impressed, especially at one guy who was patiently explaining the dishes to my mum (cos like i said, she can't see the words on the menu). My mum was really really craving for soup and she was somewhat "making life hard" for the guy by asking if there's soupy stuff etc.( If i were him, i would have a mental breakdown. That was the amount of tension there.) The guy was still courageous and not quite freaked out, wOw.

When my mum was paying money, she asked the guy how old was him and what school was he from. (pedo mum alert !! )  Guess what?? I thought he was of the same age as my older brother but he is the same age as me ..... The waffle maker who is a girl, is also of the same age as me and is the guy's classmate. Same age as me but i can't even fry an egg without breaking the yolk, #TotallyNotAshamed .

Anyway, to conclude, i will come back to this cafe again but i'll probably only try the desserts. All these are only my opinions. :D  -Bearlynn
